Jill's Notes

This is the second novel I ever wrote, right after the Boys of Summer’s Courting the Clearwaters.
Terry has a birth injury and spends much of the book using a cane.
In the first draft Terry didn’t play baseball. I added the baseball scenes while visiting my sister, who was an army doc stationed in Hawaii. I remember writing the scenes by hand with a tropical breeze coming through her window… Oh. My. Great place to write.
