These books can be read in any order.
The only connection between the books is geographic. All of them take place in a grouping of imaginary small towns somewhere in the Midwest. Calicorn, where Cody Bear takes place, is the ‘big city’ referred to in some of the other books.
The great thing about books with teen characters is that over-the-top drama is acceptable.
