- I admit Jane Barrett and I are somewhat similar. I’m not completely proud of that.
- I’ve always had cats, so it was fun to give Hawthorne four of them.
- Davey, Jane’s brother, ends up at St. Ninian’s Sanctuary in Thy Presence My Light. In fact, I mistimed things, so he showed up at St. Ninian’s first, although this book, released a few weeks later, was where he started.
- Although I’m a writer, I’m not a poet like Jane. My only B in my college writing classes was in poetry. I’m a fan of grammar and paragraphs, I guess.
