Then Dom and his new friends unearth Mac’s secrets and have to decide what to do, because if Mac goes down, so does the sanctuary, and Dom knows this may be the only place in the world Kai and Dom can stay together and be happy.

Jill's Notes
- I enjoy writing about teens, so I sneak them in whenever I can. Here I got to play with Dom and his friends Ben and Lucy.
- Some of the mysteries surrounding the island culminate here. But don’t fear; there’s still plenty to know about St. Ninian’s and her staff and guests.
- I taught pottery for several years, mostly to homeschool kids of all ages. I feel completely at home (and a little envious) in Kai’s studio.
- I got to do a deep dive on whales for this book. So fun!
