- I wrote this during National Novel Writing Month the last year it was in existence. I didn’t plan it, just jumped in and finished it in about three weeks.
- This is my only standalone novel that’s not part of a series. Both the Snack Cake and Balia books stand alone, too, but they have a series.
- I had fun introducing Felix to things he loved as a child. Watching a grown man realize he remembers how to use a skateboard–such a fun scene to write!
