Jill's Notes
- A reader once suggested the island would be a great place for a K-9 training program. That sparked the idea for this book.
- Craig Nolan is son of Ginny Nolan, the semi-autobiographical character in the book. One of her prodigals has come home. I pray mine will one day do the same.
- Although the vet, Dr. Green, has been on the island for the whole series, this is the first time he really shows up.
