- Suzie isn’t me, but since I also struggle with anxiety, she was easy to write.
- Josiah isn’t me, but I spent years as a hobby potter, so that part of him was easy to write. Try as I might, I never got good at the potter’s wheel like he is.
- I love dogs. I have a Chihuahua who lives at my side. Writing about Monaco the dog was a lot of fun. My dog, however, hates humanity at large, and would make a terrible support dog.
